Paper Colloquium
The RISE Paper Colloquium provides a platform to present, discuss and provide feedback to the academic papers and publications of the RISE research findings. The colloquium thus relates the research findings to relevant academic debates and specific literature streams. Accredited to participate are members of the RISE Research Team. External participants are admitted by invitation (including affiliated professors and doctoral students with particular interests in the area of a distinctive session).
Company Workshops
RISE Workshops is an established workshop series for experienced executives and senior managers on strategically relevant topics. Over a two-year period, the RISE Workshop series follows a jointly agreed and integrated program of fundamental entrepreneurial themes which are dealt with in detail in the context of specific firms and reflected against the background of scientific management research. Entrepreneurs, senior managers and experienced management academics jointly form an interdisciplinary faculty, applying co-teaching between research and practice as a core principle. RISE Workshops cultivates community building among peers of adequate seniority and experience, as well as the joint agenda setting of research and practice in the field of management.
Events
Besides its participation in Academic Conferences such as the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management, or the Annual Conference of the Strategic Management Society, RISE and its members actively participate in both in specific academic events and business events related to its empirical focus as co-organizers, speakers, or participants.
Lectures
Besides research, RISE lectures primarily in the graduate and PhD programs at the University of St Gallen HSG, RISE attempts to translate important insights and results of its research into class and management practice.
