From Rise

RISE Management Research involves entrepreneurial executives, entrepreneurs and senior managers, as well as their companies in its research activities primarily through the RISE Workshops and the RISE Research Projects.

For doctoral students to conduct their PhD in the context of RISE Management Research, they require formal acceptance as a PhD student at the University of St. Gallen. Doctoral students need to have a strong interest in the RISE research areas (Research Focus, References) and empirical contexts (Empirical Focus), as well as in developing a research project in close collaboration with experienced entrepreneurs and managers, as well as in intense interactions with relevant researchers and the international scientific community.
